U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden features an extensive unit-level sports program, available to all active duty military, including Air Force and Marines. Family members may participate, so long as they are associated with the unit, and the active duty POC of the participating unit allows non-active duty participation. (i.e.: the team POC must be active duty and it’s up to them to determine/authorize who plays for their organization). Males and females are eligible to participate in all sports.
With leagues for basketball, volleyball, softball and soccer, the robust sports program is available year-round.
Letters of intent are required from each unit to participate. Contact your unit POC for additional information, or if you're interested in forming a league for your unit, contact us today.
