Long-Arm Quilting classes are now available at the Wiesbaden Arts and Crafts Center. Students will learn how to prep, load and operate the long-arm quilting machine, as well as basic filler patterns, It is strongly recommended that students have at least a couple of pieced tops ready for quilting to put their new skills into practice.

Individuals can also rent the machine after having taken the class (here or in Stuttgart) for a fee of $20 an hour. Thread is avilable and only needles provided at the center may be used on the machine. Time slots are Tuesday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (except when classes are taking place).

A one-hour-long Long-Arm Refresher class is also available for a fee of $37. Check with the center for times.
