Wiesbaden Outdoor Recreation holds a U.S. Forces Sports Shooting Knowledge Course Jan. 18-20. Classes will be held from 6-10 p.m. on Jan. 18 and 19; and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Jan. 20. The final exam is a mandatory requirement and will be held on Jan. 20.

Successful course completion will earn you a Certificate of Completion. After completing the course you must complete 18 times shooting firearms, obtain a certificate of need and shooting insurance. Once approved you'll be allowed to own firearms for sports shooting purposes.

During the course participants will be required to use eye and hearing protection.

Cost

Cost is $90 per person including the registration fee and a one-year membership in the Wiesbaden Hunting, Fishing and Sports Shooting Program. Not included are ammunition, transportation costs and range fees.
Registration Information

Register at the Outdoor Recreation Center on Clay North. Participants must be U.S. citizens and hold a valid ID card to register.
