"Tuck Everlasting" Auditions

The Amelia Earhart Playhouse holds auditions for "Tuck Everlasting" on Jan. 16 and 17 from 6:30-9:30 p.m.

Auditionees may sign up for a 10-minute audition slot using the QR code above. Please prepare and memorize a one-minute monologue and 16–32 bars of a musical theater song. You may perform your song a capella or with a karaoke track from your phone (a Bluetooth speaker will be available).

Auditionees between 6 and 7:20 p.m. must be present for dance call at 7:30 p.m. and auditionees between 7:50 and 9 p.m. must be present for dance call at 9:10 p.m.

Bring comfortable clothes to move in as well as shoes you can dance in. Walks-ins are accepted where time allows.

Important: If anyone wants to audition without acting or singing to be considered for the dance ensemble, there is a section at the bottom of the sign-up for dance only auditions. Please specify which dance call you will be attending.

Potential callbacks will be on Jan. 18.

Synopsis
Eleven-year-old Winnie Foster yearns for a life of adventure beyond her white picket fence, but not until she becomes unexpectedly entwined with the Tuck Family does she get more than she could have imagined. When Winnie learns of the magic behind the Tuck’s unending youth, she must fight to protect their secret from those who would do anything for a chance at eternal life. As her adventure unfolds, Winnie faces an extraordinary choice: return to her life or continue with the Tucks on their infinite journey.

Performances dates are:

  • April 5-6, 12-13, 19-20 and 26 at 7:30 p.m.
  • April 7, 14 and 21 at 2 p.m.
