Introductory and advanced self-defense classes will be held at the Wiesbaden Sports, Fitness and Outdoor Recreation Center on Oct. 6 and 13. The classes will be taught by Bob and Alicia Karnes, head instructors of the Golden Sage Martial Arts at the fitness center.
The instructors said, "We will practice at an elevated level of self-defense skills depending on the level of awareness, self-discipline and safety demonstrated. Participants must be 16 years old with a parent present, 17 years old with parental permission or 18 or above."
Cost
$20 per individual or $35 per couple
