Metz, France, is known for its well-known markets -- including its Christmas Market. Outdoor Recreation offers a trip during the holiday season on Dec. 21. Spend the day shopping at the market, visiting the city's gothic cathedral and strolling along the Moselle and Seille River promonades.

Cost
$89 per adult; $79 for children up to age 16. Price includes round-trip transportation only. Bring Euros for meals and purchases.
