Outdoor Recreation offers a trip to Poland Oct. 11-14, 2024. The trip will include a visit to the Auschwitz-Birkenau Memorial and State Museum with a guide, a guided tour of the UNESCO-listed Old Town of Krakow, a visit to the Royal Wawel Castle complex, through the Jewish Quarter Kazimierz and a visit to Boleslawiece -- famous for its unique and colorful pottery -- using local clay and traditional techniques. The trip includes visiting pottery factories and workshops (with the opportunity to make purchases at discounted prices before returning to Germany).

Tour-goers have the opportunity to visit the Salt Mine in Wieliczka as well (for an additional 40 Euro -- reserve on route).

The trip includes four days travel time, two overnights in a three-star hotel in Krakow, two breakfasts, a city tour conducted by a local guide in Krakow, services of a memorial guide at Auschwitz, services of a tour manager throughout the tour, and round-trip transportation in a modern bus with AC, WC, reclining and separating seats.

Cost

$549 per adult; $469 for children ages 3-11; $389 for infants. There is a single room supplement of $179 if requesting a single room.
