The Amelia Earhart Playhouse holds auditions for "The Dear Departed" on Aug. 29 & 30 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. This production is an official entry into the U.S. Army IMCOM-E Entertainment YouthFEST. To find out more about the festival, click here.

Synopsis
A clever dramatization of a famous Guy de Maupassant story about a man who pretended he was dead in order to see what his family thought about him.
Audition Notice (Ages 8-18*)
Auditions are open to students who are ages 8 to 18 AND enrolled in the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. There is no need to sign-up for an audition slot. Auditionees can prepare a comedic monologue if they choose, but it is not required. Auditions will primarily consist of reading from the script.
