Auditions: Alice in Wonderland Jr.

The Amelia Earhart Playhouse invites you to audition for the musical adaptation of a timeless story, "Alice in Wonderland Jr." on Monday, Dec. 9 or Tuesday, Dec. 10 from 6:30-9 p.m.

Synopsis

When young Alice finds herself in a strange world where everything seems upside down, she must find her way home…and find herself along the way. As she travels through Wonderland, she encounters all of the iconic characters that audiences have come to love: including the ever-tardy White Rabbit, the grinning Cheshire Cat, a cool Caterpillar, the wacky Mad Hatter, and the hot-tempered Queen of Hearts.

Audition Notice (Ages 7-18)

Please use the provided link to sign up for an audition slot. Please prepare and memorize 30–60 seconds of a musical theater or Disney song and provide a link to the karaoke track on the sign-up sheet. Auditionees will cold read from the script and must attend a dance call at 7:15 p.m. or 8:30 p.m. depending on their chosen audition slot.

Auditions will be held at the Amelia Earhart Playhouse. Potential callbacks will be Dec. 11 at the AEP or Dec. 12 at the Wiesbaden Sports & Fitness Center from 6:30–9 p.m.

Tentative Performance Dates: Feb. 21-22, 28 and Mar. 1, 7-8 at 7:30 p.m. and Feb. 23, Mar. 2 and 9 at 2 p.m.

Please Note: Performances will be held at Velvets Theater in Wiesbaden.

Optional Audition Workshop

The AEP offers an optional audition workshop for auditionees that will teach the audition dance and a song for those who do not already have something prepared. The workshop will be at the AEP on Saturday, Dec. 7 at 10 a.m.
