Army Emergency Relief provides zero-interest loans and grants to Soldiers and their Families through their local installation's AER section. AER is a private nonprofit organization incorporated in 1942 by the Secretary of War and the Army Chief of Staff.
This year's campaign runs from March 1 to June 14.
An Army Emergency Relief fund-raising campaign kick-off will take place on March 5 at 11 a.m. at the Stronger Together Dining Facility on Clay Kaserne. Come out to help launch this annual effort. There will be remarks by the Garrison Commander, a cake cutting and the AER team will be standing by with information about the program and to accept donations.
