Wiesbaden High School students will have a chance to meet with a variety of representatives for future careers, military service, educational and volunteer opportunities.

Join us for breakout workshops in a variety of specialty areas, to include resume writing, dressing for success, interviewing and more, throughout the event.

A post-event social hour will feature pizza and prizes on-site.

Here's the workshops and panel discussion schedule:

Workshops during Block One 11:45 a.m. to 12:25 p.m.

1A. "Chart Your Course” - 1. "Chart Your Course - Through High School and Beyond" Mapping your academic plan through high school will help you build a competitive resume for college applications. Workshop and material developed by the Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC).

1B. Dress for Success - A career and college ready related presentation facilitated by Army Community Service's Employment Readiness Program.

1C. Effective Communication - Skill development presentation to increase student awareness and proficiency in professional, oral, written and nonverbal communication.  

1D. Where the Jobs Are

Workshops during Block Two 12:30-1:10 p.m.

2A. Alternatives to College -2. Alternatives to College after High School - Is College Right for You? If you are not sure if a traditional 4-year university is the best fit for your student, this workshop explores alternatives. Workshop and material developed by the Military Child Education Coalition (MCEC).  

2B. Resume Writing - A career and college ready related presentation focused on writing skills facilitated by Army Community Service', Employment Readiness Specialist Volunteers.

2C. Leveraging Volunteer Work for College Career - Workshop provides information and example to demonstrate how students can gain real world experience and build their college and career resume.

2D. Where the Jobs Are

Two panel presentations, Block two (12:30-1:10 p.m.) and Block three (1:10-1:55 p.m.)

Career Insights – Discover Career Options after High School

What Now? Four subject matter experts from the community discuss their career path, educational background and why they love what they do. Panel members will provide insights from their own career paths plus answer student questions.

Block Three and Four 1:15-2:40 p.m.

Employment representatives on site; finale party with vendors, food and participation prizes.
