Walk, run, bike, row, climb, hike, canoe or paddleboat 177 miles between March 23 and 29 during the Piestewa Challenge.
This Wiesbaden Sports and Fitness Center challenge honors Spc. Lori Ann Piestewa, the first Native American service member killed in combat on foreign soil (in Iraq) and all 177 women who have given their lives in continued combat operations around the globe.
Complete the challenge individually or as a group. Each mile of activity honors women who made the ultimate sacrifice and celebrates women willing make such sacrifices on behalf of the nation. Post your results on the Wiesbaden Sports and Fitness or Wiesbaden Family and MWR Facebook pages.
