Virtual Tour and Tasting

Wiesbaden Outdoor Recreation is offering another opportunity for community members to learn more about wine -- this time the various wines of the Rhein-Hessen Region, known as Germany's Tuscany for its gently rolling hills covered with richly, laden vineyards.
The firm Reis and Luff will feature a Virtual Wine and Cheese tasting, including:
- Professional tasting instruction
- Six .75-liter bottles of red, rose and white wines
- A tasting of a pulled wild boar in a jar (435 grams)
Participants are encouraged to purchase and have the following on hand to enhance the overall experience:
- Water
- Baguette bread
- Spundekaese (available at most German supermarkets -- or get the recipe from Outdoor Recreation)
- Small pretzels

Registration Information
Sign up at the Wiesbaden Outdoor Recreation Center, located on Clay North. Individuals must be 18 years or older to register and participate.
