Outdoor Recreation invites you on an interactive trip to the historic sites of Verdun, France, in commemoration of World War I. Verdun was the setting for the longest battle of the war -- lasting from Feb. 21 to Dec. 18, 1916. More than 700,000 people were killed in the fighting.

This moving experience is designed for guests ages 16 years and older.

During the trip you will visit three important sights: Memorial de Verdun, Ossuaire de Douatumont and Forte de Douaumont -- along with a a leisure period in the town of Verdun.  (Memorial Day is also a holiday in France)

Cost

$99 for adults ages 16 and up; $79 for children up to age 15. The cost includes round-trip transportation and entrance fees. 

*** Bring Euros for meals, snacks and drinks. There will be stops for breakfast and dinner included in the itinerary.  Lunch is self-exploration in Verdun.

*** PASSPORTS ARE REQUIRED.
