Tree Lighting Ceremony

Come out and join fellow U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden community members in launching the holiday season at the Tree Lighting Ceremony at the Clay Chapel starting at 5 p.m. An invocation will be held at 5:30 p.m.

There will be holiday music, refreshments on sale by private organizations and the official tree lighting by the Jolly Old Elf and garrison commander at 6:30 p.m.

Children will have the opportunity to have photos taken with Santa in the Fireside Room at the Little Italy Restaurant and Catering Center starting at 6:45 p.m. There will also be arts and crafts activities, courtesy of the Child and Youth Services staff.

Make sure to stop by the MWR table in the Little Italy Restaurant and Catering Center to enter for the chance to win a pair of United Airlines tickets to the United States, an Edelweiss Escape and children's gifts. The prize drawing (must be present for the drawing to win) will be held at 8 p.m.

Little Italy will provide a Holiday Buffet Special from 5-10 p.m. featuring a variety of pasta with salad, water and ice tea. Pasta choices are: Rigatoni Bolognese, Tortellini Tomato Marinara or Orecchiette Pasta sith Zucchini and Shrimp in Alfredo Sauce. A Children's Buffet will consist of Chicken Nuggets, Fish Sticks and French Fries.
