Traveling Teal Shoes

The Wiesbaden Library and the 2nd Theater Signal Brigade are teaming up to highlight the Sexual Harassment and Assault Response Prevention Program June 21-25. The Teal Shoes Event -- a visual impact event using painted teal shoes to represent survivors who filed restricted or unrestricted reports in Germany in fiscal year 2020 -- will be presented at the following locations:

• June 21 -- Wiesbaden Library from noon to 2 p.m.
• June 22 -- Wiesbaden Health Clinic from 10 a.m. to noon
• June 23 -- Main Exchange in Hainerberg from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
• June 24 -- Tony Bass Auditorium from 8-10 a.m.
• June 25 -- Wiesbaden Sports and Fitness Center from 8-10 a.m. and at the Strong Europe Cafe Dining Facility from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

Many more assaults go unreported with one in three women and one in six men experiencing sexual abuse in their lifetimes.

Please note: In case of inclement weather, this event will take place July 6-9.
