Join fellow parents (Soldiers, civilians and retirees) in sharing experiences, introducing concerns and providing recommendations on the services, activities and resources that can be provided to individuals with special needs. Children are also welcome -- siblings and friends included.
Providing a safe and engaging environment for children is a key focus of the meetings Multiple activities are made available for children to participate in and get to know one another -- a great way for parents to observe how their children interact with others.
Each meeting includes parents, an Exceptional Family Member Program staff member and at least one subject matter expert from a supporting agency.
