The Automotive Skills Center is celebrating its customers who helped the facility be named the Installation Management Command's Best Medium Sized Automotive Skills Center. During the celebration, the Auto Skills Center will offer free food and beverages (provided by the Wiesbaden Entertainment Center) from 12:45-3 p.m. The center will be reserved for self-help customers only that day with half price on all bay fees. Other highlights include giveaways (car washes, front end wheel alignment, staff oil changes and bay time), games, car smash, demonstrations, car part art and more.
Schedule of Events:
- Noon to 12:30 p.m. -- Commander's Remarks/Presentation
- 12:30 p.m. -- Shop opens for self-help-only repairs with half off all bay fees
- 12:30-1 p.m. -- Car smash/car break-in, coupon giveaway
- 12:45 p.m. -- WEC begins serving food
- 12:45-3 p.m. -- Fire Department rescue demonstration, jaws of life
- 1-1:30 p.m. -- NASCAR-style beat-the-pro tire change race, coupon giveaway
- 1:30-2 p.m. -- Coupon giveaway; guess how long the cars will run without oil and coolant; airbag demonstration; child seat safety
- 1:30 p.m. -- Award presentation
- 2-3 p.m. -- Car Part Art Station open
