Auditions for I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change

Auditions for the musical, "I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change" will be held Jan. 16 and 17, starting at 7 p.m., at the Amelia Earhart Playhouse. Needed are a cast of two men and two women (at a minimum). Scripts will be available to check out in advance of the audition.

Please have a contemporary pop or Broadway show tune prepared for the audition. Also, bring accompanying sheet music or accompaniment track, if possible -- and wear clothes that allow you to move freely.

The hilarious musical revue pays tribute to those who have loved and lost, to those who have fallen on their faces at the portal of romance and to those who have dared to ask, "Say, what are you doing Saturday night?"

This celebration of the mating game takes on the truths and myths behind that contemporary conundrum known as "the relationship." Act I explores the journey from dating and waiting to love and marriage. Act II reveals the agonies and triumphs of in-laws and newborns, trips in the family car and pick-up techniques of the older generation.

It will be a 2018 IMCOM-Europe Tournament of Plays performance.

Play dates are March 30, 31, April 6 and 13 at 7:30 p.m.; April 7 and 14 at 2 p.m.
