248th Army Birthday Celebration

The U.S. Army Garrison Wiesbaden Equal Opportunity Program hosts an Army Birthday Celebration in observance of Army Heritage Month on June 14 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The celebration will feature:

• A ceremony with guest speaker
• Cake cutting
• Bounce House, Hot Dogs and Drinks
• Military Working Dog Demonstration
• Sporting Event hosted by members of the 66th Military Intelligence Brigade

The PT sporting event is open to three-Soldier teams in a relay race executing ACFT exercises -- the fastest team wins. Uniform: PT uniform (unit shirt recommended) and IOTV.

• Event 1. Starting in the bottom position of front leaning rest -- Sprint 25m down and back.
• Event 2. Deadlift 185lbs (Hex Bar) and a Burpee between each rep, starting with a DL repetition, burpee, DL…. 5 reps for males. 3 reps for females.
• Event 3. Sled drag 25m down and back.
• Event 4. 15M/10F Hand Release Push-ups.
• Event 5. Sprint 25m down and back.
• Event 6. KB carry 25m down and back
• Event 7. Don IOTV, sprint 25m down and back 3x.
